Things To Do

Fishing – The Eastern Sierras and Mono County have some of the best trout fishing. The lakes and streams allow for the beginner to the advanced fisher-man, fisher-women or fisher-kid. This area has a wide range of fishing techniques; fly-fishing, bait fishing, trolling, lure fishing, from shore, on a float tube, on a boat or a walk along a stream. This area offers places to rent boats and our local tackle shops have all your fishing needs. The CROWLEY LAKE RV PARK is a great central location to explore many of the fisheries in the area. Just to name a few:
  • Crowley Lake – 1 mile away close enough to walk
  • Rock Creek Lake – 12 miles very nice scenic drive with stream fishing along the way.
  • Convict lake – 9 miles
  • Pleasant Valley Reservoir – 17 miles
  • Hot Creek – 11 miles Great place to fly fish and it’s open year round
  • Upper Owens River – 13 miles
  • Mammoth Lakes Basin – 18 miles (Lake Mary, Lake George, Twin Lakes and more)

Hiking – Great location for a base camp. Many wonderful day hikes from 2-15 miles away. Explore the Eastern Sierras in the backcountry.

Skatepark – Great skatepark within walking distance.

Water Sports – Crowley Lake offers waterskiing, wakeboarding, kayaking and sailing.

Relaxation – You can enjoy nature, bird watching, sunrise, sunsets, wildlife, or just hang out and have a cold one. This quite area is a get away from the busy schedule or the busy city.

Long road trip on HWY 395 – Stop in for the night to break up a long drive. You might just stay for a few more!

Winter Sports – We are open year round! Mammoth Mountain is just a few minutes away for skiing, snowboarding, cross country skiing, tubing and snowmobiling. Don’t forget Hot Creek and the Upper Owens are open year round were you can enjoy some great fly fishing.
